Paper beads can give dimensional look to your cards. Roll out some paper beads as per the instructions given in the article how to make paper beads. Colour them in typical holiday light colours like red blue and yellow.

You can use any coloured cardstock to make this card. Since we are making a string of holiday lights using these paper beads go for any dark coloured cardstock. |
To make a string use gold thread, fold the thread about 2 inches from one side.
Slide in the paper bead over the fold.
Gently tie a tiny knot on folded part. Make sure you do not let the bead slide off the string.
Take another 5 inches of the thread and repeatedly side paper beads while tying knot for each one. Make sure you leave equal space between the beads.
Finally you can get a beautiful string with holiday light style paper beads.
Measure 5 1/4 x 7 ¼ plain cardstock. Fold it from the middle. Punch a hole on both sides as shown below. Tie the holiday light paper bead string through the holes. To make it more attractive you can stamp some stars or just draw it using a glitter pen to give complete look of the night!
